Regent Honeyeater Tree Planting

Autumn is approaching and so is the first Capertee Valley tree planting of 2018 (the 24th year since the planting program began).  The first planting will take place on the weekend of 5-6 May.  The site is on Huntingdale Road and is close to a number of previous planting sites, one of which a Regent has already been recorded on.

Central Tablelands Local Land Services (CTLLS) is producing a short promotional video about the project. The video focuses on the contribution made by volunteers and incorporates footage shot at last May’s planting.   CTLLS will be launching the video at a Saturday night dinner on the 5th of May. So come along to enjoy another memorable meal prepared by the Glen Alice Community Association, and the world premiere of the CTLLS  video.

All in all, it promises to be a great weekend!  The registration form and flyer are available here. If you have any queries, please contact Wendy Fox at  BirdLife Southern NSW southernnsw@birdlife.org.au or 02 9647 2030.
