Community involvement is one of the most important factors in the recovery of Australia's threatened species. Since establishing in 1996, the Threatened Bird Network (TBN) has become the hub connecting people to bird conservation in Australia. TBN members have contributed tens of thousands of hours in volunteer support to a diverse range of threatened bird projects.
We are pleased to announce that the TBN is a finalist in the Volunteering Victoria State Awards. The Volunteering Victoria State Awards aim to embrace and showcase the work of Volunteer Involving Organisations, their partnerships and programs.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 28. We could not have done it without you — wish us luck!
